- That's what I thought! A lot of sour grapes but there was just a hint of
- the 'possible' and the lack of ANY discussion or flames was curious....

- I'm just getting a 'taste' of IRC and I wouldn't expect reliability either.

- Actually, this is somehow bothersome. This means that they don't monitor
- the nets even with their own name as a search key.... I presume you
- pointed out the advantages of monitoring the nets... ;)
-
- I was more surprised that when I sent a copy of WillyTamm's original
- Fidonet crosspost to SMG via Inet email and received not one word in
- answer in any arena.... This IS worrisome, IMHO. Surely someone would
- have time for a two or three word reply. WillyTamm also reported that he
- couldn't get any more info either.
-
- I would be curious (Not that it's any of my business) to know how much of
- the mess had some element of truth.... AmyTech could be unhappy with
- the lack of ANY real marketing efforts by SMG and their passive attitudes
- toward bringing in ANY non-gray market A1200s (the impression that I have
- anyway).
-
- When I called my local dealer (who is still waiting for A4kTs) they also
- had never heard of the situation but seemed less than excited by the
- support they had received and not surprised by the possible new distribution
- and marketing situation. I'm waiting for a return call from them.
-
- Cheers,
